The Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA)

Accreditation by IDEA is intended to assist the general public in the selection of a qualified, professional door systems dealer when purchasing, servicing, or installing an overhead door, automatic gate operator, fire door and other industry products. Companies earning the Accreditation seal have demonstrated a commitment to industry excellence by completing a demanding study course, documenting good business practices and receiving recommendations from others with whom they do business.

Better Business Bureau (BBB)

BBB maintains Business Reviews on more than 4.5 million businesses and rates them based on complaint histories, responsiveness to customers, licensing, legal and government action, and other factors. Only Accredited Businesses that meet the BBB Code of Business Practices are permitted to display the BBB logo in their marketing and place of business.

Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB)

The Canadian Federation of Independent Business is the country’s champion of small business. With over 110,000 members, they’re Canada’s largest nonprofit organization devoted to creating and supporting an environment where small businesses can succeed. Across Canada, the CFIB advocates for small businesses with politicians and decision-makers.

Haldimand Norfolk Home Builders Association

The Haldimand Norfolk Home Builder’s Association works with the provincial government in legislating the housing industry as well as amending the Ontario Building Code. Throughout each level of the association, communication is established between the levels of government, ensuring that home builders have representation at the federal, provincial, and municipal levels.
